Bokkle uses browser storage to support player recognition and score history.

Your browser/device may store information including:

• a randomly generated player identifier; and
• local quiz score/history information.

Bokkle also uses session storage for certain session-related analytics information.

You can clear browser data or use another browser/device, which may reset locally stored score history or player recognition.

Clearing browser data does not necessarily delete historical analytics information already received by Bokkle's servers.

We may use information collected through Bokkle to:

• operate and maintain the quiz;

• understand how players use Bokkle;
• measure completion, engagement and sharing;
• understand acquisition and referral activity;

Bokkle uses analytics to understand how the quiz is played and how the service is used.

Analytics are designed to use pseudonymous identifiers rather than requiring a player account, name or email address.

Analytics should not be necessary for the basic quiz to function. If an analytics operation fails, Bokkle is designed to allow gameplay to continue.

6. Sharing and Referral Links

Bokkle allows players to share their results.

Shared Bokkle links may contain a unique referral token. When another person opens such a link, Bokkle may use the token to record that the person arrived through a Bokkle referral.

Referral information is used for analytics and to understand how sharing contributes to new visits and plays.

Referral tokens are not intended to provide access to private player information.

7. Aggregated Statistics

Bokkle may use collected information to produce aggregated statistics and reports, such as:

• numbers of players and plays;

• a password to play the public quiz.

Bokkle's analytics implementation does not intentionally store raw IP addresses as part of its analytics data.

Bokkle uses third-party service providers to host, operate and support parts of the website and its infrastructure.

These providers may process information on Bokkle's behalf as necessary to provide their services.

10. Data Retention

Bokkle retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including operating the service, analytics, security, legal obligations and resolving disputes.

Local score history stored in your browser/device remains there until it is cleared, overwritten or otherwise removed by you or the browser/device.

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through Bokkle.

However, no website or online service can guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Bokkle is intended as a general entertainment sports quiz.
